My recent stay at the Hanns-Lilje-Haus in the heart of the historic district left me with mixed feelings about the luxury versus value it offers. The room, though clean and modern, felt somewhat cramped; however, the abundance of amenities like a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi did enhance the experience. The terrace provided a lovely spot to unwind, but the lack of heating made it less enjoyable during colder evenings. The complimentary buffet breakfast was a nice touch, though with limited options for special diets. The staff's friendliness was a highlight, though their assistance with navigating the challenging parking situation was lacking. While the hotel's location was central, the difficulty in reaching it by car must be addressed. Hanns-Lilje-Haus offers a decent balance of luxury and value, but improvements in accessibility and room size could elevate the experience for guests seeking a more refined stay.
